Innovation and inclusion

Innovation and inclusion means no one left behind.

We design and test new ways to help people with low and moderate incomes build their financial security. Working closely with community partners, we listen to what people need, then co-create tools, programs, and supports that fit their real-life situations.

Our goal is to spark ideas, test them in real communities, and refine them into practical, proven solutions.

How does technology fit in?

Many Canadians with low incomes face barriers like geography, mobility, or limited access to in-person services. Digital tools—like Benefits Wayfinder or Disability Benefits Compass—remove those barriers by putting trusted support directly in people’s hands.

It also means help is available anytime, anywhere—not just during office hours or at a specific location. This flexibility is critical for people juggling shift work, caregiving, or multiple jobs.

Finally, technology allows Prosper Canada and community partners to reach more people with fewer resources, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information and creating pathways that are easier to navigate. The result: more individuals and families can access benefits, reduce financial stress, and build lasting stability.
